Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for this role: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM (eligible for shift differential pay).
Responsibilities
- Service MR, CT, and MI equipment in the Springfield, MO area.
- Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites in a field-based, customer-facing role.
- Serve as the "Face of Siemens" to the customer.
- Support diagnostics modalities initially, with potential to cross-train into other modalities in the future.
- Work flexible shifts and on-call rotations as business needs dictate, including overtime as required; advanced notice provided for any shift changes.
- Perform service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Utilize electronics background and proficiency with service tools and test equipment.
- Apply proficient PC skills (MS Windows, Microsoft Office 365—Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
- Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
- Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.
- 3–5+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and a good driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (floor to above waist/head), and often over 50 lbs; walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending charges, or other serious moving violations (unless prohibited by state/local law).
- Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary for full client access, including but not limited to: proof of valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus), annual TB testing, and healthcare training.

- Knowledge and experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
- Experience with diagnostics imaging equipment.
- Strong background in electronics and proficiency with service tools and test equipment.
- Proficient PC skills (MS Windows, Microsoft Office 365—Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $58,240–$80,080. Factors affecting starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If commission-eligible, commissions will be based on individual and/or company performance in accordance with the Company’s plan.
