Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist - KORT

About the role

As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and business side of our outpatient physical therapy center in Bowling Green.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and check-out processes
• Provide information about the patient’s next appointment and what to expect during their visit
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services
• Collect co-pays from patients and manage payer approvals
• Conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of medical office experience
• One year of front desk experience
• Insurance verification experience preferred

Qualifications

• Health care experience preferred
