Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist - KORT

About the role

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Nicholasville, we want them to have an exceptional experience - starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center.

Responsibilities

• Manage registration and information for patients during their visit and for their next appointment
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation companies
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of front desk experience
• One year of medical office experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
