About the role
As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and business side of our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and upcoming appointments, schedule appointments, communicate with various parties, collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and upcoming appointments
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
- Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
- Collect co-pays from patients
- Manage payer approvals
- Conduct insurance verifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- One year of front desk experience
- One year of medical office experience
Qualifications
- Health care experience preferred
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Weekdays - 7am to 4pm OR 10am to 7pm
