About the role
As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and the business side of our outpatient physical therapy centers. You will greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and next appointment, schedule appointments, communicate with various parties, collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
- Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
- Collect co-pays from patients
- Manage payer approvals
- Conduct insurance verifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of front desk experience
Qualifications
- One year of medical office experience
- Insurance verification experience

- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
