Patient Service Specialist- FLOAT

About the role

We want each patient to have an exceptional experience, starting at the front desk. You will manage both the patient side and the business side of our outpatient physical therapy center.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have flexibility between the hours of 7A-7P, Monday- Friday.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and procedures.

Pay

• $19/hour, with increases based on experience.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility between the hours of 7A-7P, Monday- Friday.
