Patient Service Specialist- Float

About the role

We want each patient to have an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and the business side of our outpatient physical therapy center.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, 7A-7P, Monday-Friday.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and procedures.

Pay

$19/hour, with potential for increase based on experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week, flexible schedule between 7A-7P, Monday-Friday.
