Primary location: Burnet Campus, Department of Rheumatology. Full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Administration
    • Complete and process forms, documents, and reports.
    • Compile information and perform data entry for educational tracking.
    • Assist and support improvements and modifications impacting program success, professional quality, and efficiency.
    • Implement new procedures, processes, services, and systems to enhance program quality.
    • Compile, organize, summarize, prepare, and analyze data for designated projects and report findings.
  • Operation
    • Audit and evaluate departmental program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
    • Develop program and individual trainee budgets; administer related events, resources, and materials.
    • Provide administrative oversight and assistance for departmental operations and programs.
    • Research issues related to assigned projects.
  • Coordination
    • Serve as a liaison with internal and external departments, programs, and organizations.
    • Explore community and external organization opportunities to promote program visibility.
    • Administer and analyze program and individual evaluations to ensure accreditation compliance.
    • Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes.
    • Assemble and distribute materials for project communications.
  • Media Maintenance
    • Use software applications to create tables, charts, and forms.
    • Maintain electronic files and folders related to educational activities and accreditation requirements.
    • Organize, maintain, and assume responsibility for required databases.
  • Reporting
    • Assist in maintaining budgets and billing related to initiatives and programs.
    • Collect and electronically submit payroll information; act as liaison with payroll.
    • Compile information and perform data entry for departmental budget and expense tracking.
    • Assist with completion of HR and other forms, account reconciliation, and validation of submitted information.
    • Assist with accurately capturing and reporting revenue and expenses related to activities.
  • Individual responsibility for at least 1 accredited residency/fellowship program and 8 CCHMC trainees (12 rotators = 1 resident/fellow) or support a centralized, organization-wide education group.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related discipline.

Pay

Expected starting pay range: $22.18 - $27.73 per hour. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
