Medical Director - Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Bennington, VT
About the role
The role includes dedicated time for administrative responsibilities as well as direct clinical care on the unit. Clinically, you will provide state-of-the-art acute psychiatric and substance related disorder care for adolescents aged 12-17. The inpatient unit will include an experienced team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide state-of-the-art acute psychiatric and substance related disorder care for adolescents aged 12-17
- Lead a clinical service in psychiatry
- Work in an inpatient setting
- Teach in didactic or other supervisory settings in the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship or psychiatry residency at Dartmouth
Requirements
- Board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry
- Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
- Post graduate training in residency program
- Current New Hampshire Medical License
- Active hospital staff membership

Pay
Academic rank at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and salary will be commensurate with experience.
