Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient flow
- Assist the doctor in preliminary testing
- Verify medical and vision insurances
- Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
- Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excitement to learn and grow
Qualifications
- Favorable result on Background Check
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No licenses or credentials required
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity
- Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary

Schedule
Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 7am-2pm and Saturday 8am-1pm. You may need to work a little earlier and/or later as needed. You must have availability to work any shift within these hours.
