Department: PMG • Location: Tenafly • Status: Part Time • Shift: Days • Hours: Variable

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients and/or patients' representatives to obtain personal, demographic, and financial information and identification.
• Perform routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work: answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, computer data entry, and record‑keeping related to patient registration.
• Assist with patient flow from the waiting area to exam rooms and perform preparatory work to ensure efficient use of the physician’s time.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, or 5 years of Medical Assistant/PCT experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician (PCT) program preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification.
• Certification required for injection administration and medication documentation/handling.

Skills

• Experience with medical terminology.
• Experience with practice management systems (preferred).

Pay

Minimum rate: $17.00 per hour (rate determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills; does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay, or other compensation).

Schedule

Part‑time, day shift, variable hours.
