Medical Assistant - Primary Care

About the role
The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in providing patient care. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs and functions for the assigned clinic or location.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as directed to assist in patient care.
- Execute clinical functions and needs specific to the assigned clinic or location.
- Perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
- Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes clinical skills such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, or
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 6 months of healthcare experience.
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $26.47 - $40.49 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, Day shift.
Work Location: Bellevue Commons-Bellevue, 1200 112th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA. On-site workplace type.
