About the role
Vail Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their Primary Care team in Avon, Colorado. The ideal candidate will support providers and patients from newborns to seniors, working independently, compassionately, and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Taking vitals and documenting patient history
- Aiding with exams and minor procedures
- Performing venipunctures, injections, and IV therapy
- Maintaining patient conditions and communicating updates
- Managing patient communications and flow
- Stocking, cleaning, and preparing exam rooms
Requirements
- 2+ years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience preferred
- Skilled in venipuncture, injections, and IV therapy
- Certified as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, RN, or similar
- BLS certification required
- Tech-savvy with EHR systems and basic computer skills
