Position Highlights
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: 21481 N Rand Rd Kildeer
Full time 40 hours
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm and 1 Sat per month
Required Travel: Occasionally
What You Will Do
- Prepare patients for physical examination
- Obtain specimens
- Conduct select routine laboratory tests and record results
- Conduct routine diagnostic tests
- Perform phlebotomy
- Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections
- Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations
What You Will Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience. Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
- Prior CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
