About the Role

This position involves providing patient care and support services as a Medical Assistant or Associate Medical Assistant under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed practitioners in patient care activities.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication management.
  • Document accurately in electronic health records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
  • Handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-focused support to enhance the care experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent training, including hands-on clinical experience.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • Additional certifications like BLS preferred.
  • Clinical skills in vital signs, injections, medication administration, and EHR usage.
  • Preferred experience in fast-paced healthcare environments and customer service.
