Medical Assistant - Primary Care

We are seeking a Medical Assistant II (MA II) to perform clinical duties under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, supporting patient care in a clinical setting.

About the role

The MA II is fully competent in clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, while adhering to all policies and regulations. This role emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care within an inclusive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a licensed practitioner
• Take and record patient vital signs
• Administer injections and medications
• Support patient care in a clinical setting
• Adhere to all healthcare policies and regulations

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, military medical training, or at least one year of relevant work experience
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

Preferred qualification: National Medical Assistant Certification.

Schedule

• Full-time or on-call day shifts

Pay

$22.62 to $35.22 per hour
