Responsibilities

The primary purpose of your job is to assist with the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, regulations and established procedures as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality care and safety be maintained.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required; must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly and understand the English language. Preferred: successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or comparable training within a related discipline.
• Experience: Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred; a minimum of 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS required at time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date. Must meet one of the following within 1 year of employment if not completed prior to hire: enrollment in program to enhance MA skills – Registered (RMA), Certified (CMA), or Certified Clinical MA (CCMA).

Pay

Pay Range: $20.73 - $42.97 per hour (Grade SM1206).
