Qualifications
Completion of a Medical Assistant program or hands-on clinical internship experience required
Current Medical Assistant certification required
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Review medications and prepare patients for visits
- Support providers during exams and procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing and administer injections
- Care for patients in a fast-paced, high-volume primary care setting
- Coordinate patient communication (calls, portal messages)
- Avoid weekends and no IU Health observed holidays
Work Life Balance
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (based on clinic needs)
Flex scheduling options available
What to Expect
- Providers see approximately 15–20 patients per day
- Frequent care for elderly and chronic condition patients
