Medical Assistant - General Surgery Clinic

Department: General Surgery. Facility: Prime Healthcare General Surgery, 800 Austin St, West Tower Suite 253. Location: Evanston, IL.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
• Appointment scheduling and chart management.
• Providing information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.
• Conveying a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $19.00 to $26.53.
