About the Role
The Medical Assistant II (MA II) supports licensed practitioners by performing clinical duties to assist in patient care within established policies and regulations. They are fully competent in clinical functions, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration, building upon all MA I responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited or registered medical assistant program, military medical training, or minimum one year of relevant work experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
- Six months healthcare and medical assistant experience.
- Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures, assist with patient care, and support physicians.
- Follow policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure quality care.
