About the role

A PCS2 (Patient Care Specialist) float contributes to AHF by providing hands-on care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Your contribution as a PCS2 float is essential in providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients, contributing to the overall well-being of individuals and communities. Remember, every small act of care makes a big difference!

Responsibilities

• Provide multifunctional quality patient care at assigned Healthcare Centers as directed by the Regional Nursing Director
• Collaborate as a team at assigned Healthcare Centers
• Provide patient education
• Ensure accuracy in patient documentation
• Demonstrate competency in Nursing Procedures
• Provide leadership support as needed
• Act as a passionate advocate for top initiatives
• Ensure AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind
• Adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for clients and workplace for employees
• Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure adherence to protocols

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Bilingual: English/Spanish
