Medical Assistant Certified - Behavioral Medicine

Responsibilities

• Accurate Data Entry of charges on patient accounts, registering patients, and updating patient accounts.
• Insurance Verification and recording of Statistics.
• Aid in scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, keeping providers informed of changes, and informing patients of their benefits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 1 year of medical office experience preferred
• Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required. BLS required.
