Position Summary We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to support daily clinic operations and serve as a key point of contact for patients. This role combines patient scheduling, front desk responsibilities, insurance verification support, and general administrative duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, including appointment booking, confirmations, and reschedulingAnswer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling inquiriesWelcome patients and facilitate the check-in processMaintain accurate patient demographic, insurance, and provider informationCollect co-pays, insurance information, and required patient documentationFollow up with patients regarding appointments and ongoing care needsReview treatment costs, coverage information, and estimated patient balancesCoordinate referrals with other clinic locations and outside providersEnsure practitioner documentation and follow-up plans are completed accuratelyProcess mail, monitor voicemail messages, and route communications appropriatelyOrder and maintain office suppliesRecord and distribute meeting notesMaintain compliance with HIPAA and clinic policiesPartner with providers and team members to deliver outstanding patient service Qualifications 1+ year of administrative, customer service, or office support experience requiredMedical office, clinic scheduling, or healthcare experience preferredKnowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, or workers' compensation processes preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a busy office environmentHigh school diploma requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Compensation & Benefits Pay: $20-$25/hour, depending on experienceBenefits Upon Permanent Hire Include:Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life InsuranceDisability Coverage401(k) with company contributionPaid HolidaysAccrued PTOEmployer contribution toward benefits package Why Apply?
