About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Media Strategist to take the lead on paid media and campaign strategy for a New Zealand-based creative business in the health and beauty space, working across multiple brands. This is a dedicated, strategy-focused role — not a content-production one. You'll be the strategic brain behind the campaigns: shaping direction, reviewing content produced by the content creator, and making sure every brand has a clear, fresh, forward-looking plan. There's already a content creator on the team, so your focus is strategy, feedback, and results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and owning the paid media and campaign strategy across multiple brands
- Reviewing content created by the content creator and giving clear, constructive feedback and suggestions
- Helping move the team towards planning content and campaigns further in advance — with the goal of batching roughly three months ahead so nothing goes stale
- Continuously refining each brand's strategy, bringing fresh ideas and improvements
- Managing and optimising paid campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Building reports that show what's working, what isn't, and what to do next
- Working as a fully integrated part of the team
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- You're fully integrated with the team and across each brand
- Each brand has a clear, well-built strategy with continuous improvements — no stale ideas or content
- The team is working towards batching content and campaigns around three months in advance
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to optimise campaigns on a tight budget and within a small location radius
- 5+ years in a strategy role working with Meta Ads
- Strong paid media experience
- Proven campaign management experience
- Experience building content and campaign plans around three months in advance
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Availability during New Zealand business hours for communication
