Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Solutioning
- Act as a subject matter expert during the sales process, supporting Sales on “sell-in” calls to represent media capabilities and answer technical questions.
- Collaborate with sales to ensure proposed media plans are realistic, achievable and aligned with client business objectives before contract signature.
- Provide strategic direction and support to help identify at-risk clients, working proactively to improve relationships and mitigate non-renewals.
- Project Management & Delivery
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring all projects are launched on time, within budget and fully according to defined campaign parameters.
- Manage the workflow between the client and the execution teams (e.g., Search, Social, Creative, Media Ops), resolving blockers to ensure seamless delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for campaign accuracy, verifying that the final output matches the client’s signed insertion order and goals.
- Reporting, Insights & Retention
- Serve as the “final eyes” on monthly reports to ensure data accuracy and that insights are strategic, on-point and tell a compelling story of success.
- Analyze campaign performance data not just for optimization, but to identify trends that support the narrative for contract renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Lead monthly client check-ins to present performance, contextualize results, and guide the client toward future investments.
- Collaborate with platform specialists to translate complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence that demonstrates value to the client.
- Internal Collaboration
- Show thought leadership by keeping pace with digital landscape trends and bringing forward ideas to increase client satisfaction and campaign success.
- Promote cross-divisional communication to ensure a seamless internal workflow and client experience.
- Clear oral and written communication skills, both internally and externally; can confidently speak to and present on campaign performance with both clients and internal team members.
- Experience analyzing and reporting on data trends with a full understanding of digital marketing KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS, CTR) and how they relate to client renewal goals.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask and manage strict timelines in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
- Ability to support the sales process and identify opportunities for account growth and retention.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, utilizing resources to work independently and troubleshoot arising issues before escalating to senior team members
- Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
- Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing/Advertising, Business, or Communications major preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in digital client success, account management, or media planning.
- Proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving client retention.
- Experience analyzing data using visualization tools (e.g. Google Looker Studio) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications a plus
- Experience with Asana or other project management software tools is a plus.
