About the role

Lead and supervise daily media operations ensuring seamless acquisition and distribution of content across channels and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and catalog media assets while managing asset requests to maintain efficient workflows
  • Oversee distribution feeds and monitor media quality control to uphold Spectrum’s content standards
  • Support third-party content sharing and operational staff serving multiple channels
  • Facilitate prioritization of media scheduling requests and quality control for live signals across platforms
  • Collaborate with technical operations leadership to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflow processes
  • Assist in managing inbound and outbound transmission paths and support programming acquisition via live and file-based methods

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Extensive technical knowledge and be adept at proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Firm grasp of on-air broadcast workflows and systems including master control and media operations
  • Experience with video cameras, studio, production, and post production equipment and software
  • Understanding of traffic logs and procedures
  • Understanding of Dalet asset production and news room tools
  • Ability to independently make log changes based on network requirements and needs
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field or equivalent television work experience
  • 4+ years of broadcast network and master control, or equivalent production or technical focus experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Pay

The base pay for this position generally is between $55,600.00 and $88,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
