About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with departmental and state standards. Collaborating with the care team, you will assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately. You will respond promptly to patient needs, educate patients and families, and advocate for positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
- Perform medical procedures, monitor responses, and document care thoroughly.
- Administer prescribed medications, ensuring therapeutic effectiveness and managing adverse reactions.
- Respond proactively to patient requests and needs.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and medications in understandable terms.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
