Med Surg Clinical Nurse - Part Time - Nights
About the role
This position is for a registered nurse on a medical-surgical unit, responsible for delivering direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to nursing standards. The nurse will promote patient-centered care, educate patients and families on managing their health, and participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities. Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and addressing patients' physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are key duties. The role emphasizes critical nursing skills, effective communication, and safety awareness.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
Additional: Med Surg experience and BSN are advantageous
