Med Surg Clinical Nurse - Part Time - Nights

About the role

This position is for a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical unit, providing direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient and family-centered care and educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Using critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• Maintaining safety awareness as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree.
• Licenses: RN.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of Med Surg experience.
