Mechanical Technician (Aerospace & Defense)

What You’ll Do

  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools based on engineering prints, schematics, and BOMs
  • Support soldering and assembly tasks for advanced laser systems
  • Assist in designing and building test fixtures for HEL components
  • Contribute to the development of systems that will define the future of directed energy weapons

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Nice-to-Have

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with precision assembly and high-reliability systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
