Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical assembly of machines & related large sub-assemblies.
- Welding and wiring electrical (panels and cables) assembly.
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- All other duties assigned.
Requirements
- U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience building machines and large mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on machining experience using conventional lathes, milling machines, and/or surface grinders.
- Experience with welding and basic electrical wiring for industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints. Ability to read and understand GD&T is a plus.
- Experience performing quality control inspections on mechanical parts.
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic computer and communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo background, drug, and alcohol testing as required by company policy.
