Job Responsibilities

Install, maintain, trouble-shoot, and repair all pipeline related equipment (Valves, Pumps, Electric valve actuators, Turbine meters, Tanks, etc).
Calibrate mechanical pressure gauges.
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
Budget and procure parts and tools when necessary.
Provide assistance in repairs, maintenance, and operation of all equipment and right of way.
Participate in the training of O & M Personnel.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver's license.
Two or four year Mechanical Technology degree/certificate or equivalent desired.
Sufficient relevant experience and mechanical technician related work experience in an industrial environment to satisfactorily perform job.
Sufficient on the job experience performing mechanical technician related duties in an industrial environment to be able to do job.
Good technical and analytical ability.
Physically able to carry out job requirements.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and comprehend written communications.
Ability to accept supervision and direction and to work efficiently and cooperatively with other people.
Must be able and willing to work overtime and to respond to callouts to perform work as needed.
Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).

Qualifications
