About the role

Hydromat Technicians are responsible for the build and/or repair of Hydromat's line of machines. The position involves the assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
  • Disassemble and reassemble mechanical assemblies
  • Read and interpret detailed and assembly drawings
  • Understand and apply tolerances and classes of fit
  • Perform troubleshooting on mechanical assemblies
  • Provide ongoing learning opportunities through continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) in Industrial Electronics Technology or Precision Machining Technology or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years practical experience in maintenance machinist, CNC machinist, or skilled mechanic roles
  • Combination of education and experience is also acceptable
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies
  • Understanding of tolerances and classes of fit
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed and assembly drawings
  • Knowledge of proper disassembly and assembly procedures

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated individual with a strong background in craftsmanship
  • Experience in maintenance machinist, CNC machinist, or skilled mechanic roles
  • Preferred educational background in Industrial Electronics Technology or Precision Machining Technology
  • Two (2) years of practical experience in related field
