What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead meetings with other internal and/or external resources to resolve issues affecting the return to service of the aircraft.
- Prepare accurate, complete, and concise technical reports and correspondence.
- Support Business Aircraft customers and Field Service Representatives by troubleshooting, providing technical guidance and making technical recommendations on aircraft systems.
- Create performance matrix including KPI’s to drive performance in the team.
- Ensure quality feedback loop is completed when issues are found in the field.
- Provide direction to technical representative on the team when complex troubleshooting is required to return aircraft to service.
- Perform monthly quality reviews of case handling and phone interactions for the team.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have comprehensive technical knowledge and experience of aircraft systems for the Learjet, Challengers and Global aircraft.
- You have leadership capabilities and quick decision making and resolution skills.
- You have a college diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent work history.
- You have an AME license or equivalent (an asset).
- You have the ability to lead/manage a team of 6 to 10 employees, as required.
- You must be available for off-site assignments on short notice (10%).
- You are comfortable using MS Office Programs.
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in problem solving in aircraft maintenance/manufacturing environments.
- You are customer focused and have strong communication skills.
