CRNA - Day Shift
About the role
We are seeking a CRNA to join a dynamic anesthesiology group within a medically supervised practice that promotes CRNA autonomy. The position involves practicing a wide variety of anesthetics and procedures, including spinal, regional techniques, arterial lines, and central lines. Cases range from general, orthopedic, ENT, GU, OB/GYN, podiatry, robotics, GI, and healthy pediatric surgeries. The schedule includes a 6-week rotation with 3 weeks of 10-hour shifts and 3 weeks of 12-hour shifts, with 1 weekend in each 6-week rotation.
Responsibilities
- Maintains effective work relationships with anesthesiologists (supervisors).
- Communicates and cooperates to adequately staff the anesthesia department.
- Provides sound practices and safe therapeutic care.
- Promotes safe working conditions for patients and self.
- Demonstrates initiative for self-development.
- Accepts responsibility for tasks not delineated in the job description.
Requirements
- Certificate as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Current Missouri Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license.
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 120 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 days.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 120 days.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesiology and possess the ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. They should also demonstrate skill in taking medical histories to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
