Mechanic C (Day Shift)
About the role
As a Mechanic C, you’ll support the upkeep of production and facility equipment by performing a range of mechanical and electrical tasks. You’ll troubleshoot issues, assist with repairs, and help keep systems running safely and efficiently. This intermediate-level role is ideal for someone building their technical skills and growing into more advanced responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
- Support equipment changeovers and line adjustments
- Clean, lubricate, and inspect machinery for wear or damage
- Monitor and maintain plant systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.)
- Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues
- Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance
- Collaborate with teams to solve problems and improve performance
- Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience, including manufacturing
- Mechanical/electrical trade background preferred
- Working knowledge of CMMS preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Skills
- Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic math and reading skills
- Able to read blueprints and create rough sketches
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment
- Basic electrical knowledge and use of test meters
- Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn
- Able to adapt to changing tasks and environments
Pay
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $27.64. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.

Schedule
This role operates on the 1st shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.
Onboarding
To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.
