Responsibilities
- Ensures effective performance of engineering assignments.
- Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
- Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
- Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
- Makes sure goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members are met.
- Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
- Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
- Works on special projects, as directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Mechanical Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates
- Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills
- Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills
- Proficiency with Solidworks & hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Experience with robotics or tooling design, Nuclear experience is a plus
- Significant prior experience supervising teams of people and mentoring junior engineers
- Highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment

Pay
$115,000- $156,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses.
