Robotics Electrical Design Supervisor

You will work with the Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) Engineering organization, which designs tooling and complex robotic systems to perform inspections of nuclear plants around the world!

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective performance of engineering assignments.
• Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
• Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
• Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
• Makes sure goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members are met.
• Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
• Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
• Works on special projects, as directed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates
• Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills
• Advanced level of specific software tools and programming skills
• Experience in control system design, analog and digital control
• Electronic circuit design utilizing ORCAD schematic capture (or similar)
• Motion control experience
• FPGA / VHDL programming experience

Pay

$115,000 - $156,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses.
