Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
  • Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
  • Maintain goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
  • Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Work on special projects, as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
  • Experience managing teams of engineers, schedulers, testing engineers, and engineering aides.
  • Experience with design integration functions such as Technical Requirements Documents, Failure Modes & Effects Analyses, Design Review Boards, Integration Testing, Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, and Project Scheduling.

  • Total Rewards Package: Salary range from $115,000 - $156,000, with potential for annual incentives and performance bonuses.
