Responsibilities
- Aid in the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for various building types.
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.
- Prepare construction drawings and coordinate designs using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architectural and other engineering disciplines during the design process.
- Visit sites to verify existing conditions and participate in project meetings.
- Assist with construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and addressing field questions.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, Basis of Design narratives, and other project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Two to five years of experience in HVAC design for buildings.
- EIT certification preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculation software.
- Basic understanding of ASHRAE standards and applicable building codes.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Pay
Compensation Range: $83,978.91 - $95,975.90
