Mechanical Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid in the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for various building types.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.
• Prepare construction drawings and coordinate designs using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architectural and other engineering disciplines during the design process.
• Visit sites to verify existing conditions and participate in project meetings.
• Assist with construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and addressing field questions.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, Basis of Design narratives, and other project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Two to five years of experience in HVAC design for buildings.
• EIT certification preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculation software.
• Basic understanding of ASHRAE standards and applicable building codes.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Pay

Compensation Range: $83,978.91 - $95,975.90
