Mechanical Engineering - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
About the role
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced and student-centered to teach all subjects related to Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Teach all subjects related to Mechanical Engineering
- Document excellent academic preparation in Mechanical Engineering and relevant industry experience
- Document proficiency with online teaching strategies and approaches
- Work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
Requirements
- MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least two years industry experience in engineering field
- Demonstrated experience in related field
- Able to document academic preparation and industry experience
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment preferred
- Relevant work experience and professional capabilities preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with online teaching strategies and approaches

Pay
$5,507 - $6,677 per month
Schedule
Temporary appointments often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association.
