About the role

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at California State University Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas: Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
  • Collaborate with diverse faculty, staff, and student body of the College of Engineering and Computer Engineering and Computer Science

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in the appropriate field
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students
  • Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
  • Significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment
  • Relevant performance and professional experience preferred

Qualifications

Pay

$5,507 - $6,677 per month

Schedule

Temporarily appointed, often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association.
