MNR Technology is a global design, manufacturing, and supply chain management company specializing in custom engineered products for Consumer and Industrial markets. This position supports a US and European customer base, as well as domestic and international manufacturing operations, within our Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) business.
About the role
The successful candidate will join a global team (reporting into US/EU-based management) and work alongside product design engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) projects on budget, meeting challenging technical requirements and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Convert customer document files to in-house document files for vendor quotations.
- Conduct part evaluation, including DFM, FAIR, PPAP, Statistical CP/CPK reports, and measurement reports.
- Prepare FAI reports for client submission.
- Manage test lab and equipment for visual and dimensional inspection, testing of incoming components and assemblies against existing documentation.
- Prepare 2-D designs and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
- Maintain project log, engineering status, and task reports; assist with weekly project status meetings.
- Maintain and complete documentation ECO process in a timely manner.
- Maintain standards for technical drawings, internal specifications, and related engineering documentation.
- Complete prototype in-house assembly and evaluation to identify problem areas and suggest corrective actions.
- Work independently and communicate professionally with clients.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements
- Proficient with SolidWorks 3-D CAD and 2-D documentation, and AutoCAD software.
- Familiar with plastic design and assemblies, silicone rubber design, graphic overlay & membrane switch, flexible etch circuits, cable assemblies, and sheet metal.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in an Engineering discipline, or 3 years of CAD operator experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Pay
$76,425.44 – $92,039.23 per year
