Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly blueprints and air schematics.
- Operate various machine shop tools.
- Cookordinate and manage projects independently.
- Work well with customers as required to successfully complete projects.
- Able to weld and fabricate.
- Fill out checklist and project safety assessments.
- Ensure required project specific check list is completed.
- Travel on installations and service will be required as needed.
- Able to meet challenging project timelines and budgets (hours and material).
- Collaborate and work well in a team environment.
- Take as programmed welds and develop to acceptable cut / etch results.
- Document weld procedures, shim logs, etc.
- Work with Engineering to develop optimal weld paths/procedures and equipment selection during the design phase of a project.
- Lead and/or assist in debug / maturation of tooling.
- Work with the project team/departments in passing along lessons learned from a project.
- Interface between the assembly floor and engineering to resolve tooling issues.
- Assist/lead in the weld process training of other employees.
- Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company’s strategic goals.
- May support other roles as a cross-training opportunity.
Job Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 plus years Assembly experience or equivalent required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design documents required.
- Robotic Experience for teaching and updating points preferred.
- Lincoln Welding products and application experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Robot Programming experience preferred. - Motoman, Fanuc, OTC, Nachi, or ABB
- Experience in robotic welding (MIG, TIG, Laser, or Spot) preferred.
- Solidworks basic drafting experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. Be able to climb ladders; lift hand tools approx. 1-15 lbs in weight to complete machine assembly, parts up to 50 lbs. Repetition with activity.
- Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
About the Role
The position involves assisting in the assembly of Lincoln Electric equipment with a focus on debugging and part maturation. It requires interfacing with engineering to resolve issues related to machine assembly and proper operation.
