Mechanical Engineer 4

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation and issue resolution.
• Support component development, supplier selection, validation planning, and product improvements.
• Collaborate with purchasing, testing, manufacturing, quality, and product support teams to drive successful project outcomes.
• Assist with production quality initiatives, APQP activities, risk mitigation, and supply chain challenges.
• Evaluate engineering solutions based on cost, quality, performance, and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong project leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams preferred.
• Preferred Experience:
• Electrification systems, electric machines, motors, or powertrain components.
• APQP, quality systems, validation, and risk management.
• New product development and component ownership.

Additional Details

• Full-time onsite position in Mossville, IL.
• Standard work schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Up to 25% travel may be required, including occasional domestic and Mexico travel.
• Two-step interview process consisting of an informational discussion followed by a panel interview.
