Mechanical Assembler (Full-Time)

About the role

Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling mechanical components of advanced welding and cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical drawings, diagrams, and BOMs into fully assembled units.
• Use hand and power tools, jigs, and torque wrenches to assemble housings, mounts, regulators, and precision parts.
• Ensure components fit precisely, align correctly, and meet quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot misalignments or faults, collaborating with engineering or QC teams.
• Conduct mechanical and functionality tests prior to final testing or shipping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, preferably with heavy-duty equipment or industrial tools.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs, and instructions.
• Manual dexterity, mechanical intuition, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with metal parts in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Work in a manufacturing setting with safety-first protocols.
• Operate around industrial machinery and mechanical components, occasionally near welding operations.
• Use PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs; exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
• Collaborate with team members in a hands-on environment, with potential for overtime.
