Assembler - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to produce high-quality metal components such as draft gears, slack adjusters, handbrakes, and hydraulic cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints to position parts accurately.
• Fasten components using bolts, rivets, or other methods.
• Operate hand tools and machinery, including drill presses and riveting machines.
• Disassemble parts for salvage when required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following 5S principles.
• Perform material handling and general labor tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to interpret instructions and solve practical problems.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in noisy and sometimes harsh conditions.
