Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of moderate to complex production and/or assembly operations
• Utilize diagrams, drawings, work orders, oral and/or written instructions to assemble products and sub-assemblies
• Read, interpret and abide by shop processes
• Knowledge of and understand in BMS, BAC and other types of aerospace specifications
• Consistently produce high level of quality craftsmanship
• Troubleshoot and problem solve based upon skill level
• Work with other department personnel to resolve issues/problems
• Knowledge of and understand the use of: Tools and machines: screw drivers, drills, clamps, vices, knives, gauges, scales, temperature recorders, etc.
• Materials: adhesives, laminates, fiberglass/resins, potting compound

Education And/or Experience

• Position requires basic job-related courses or training in a non-technical or vocational field
• Experience in any and/or all of the following areas: mechanical assembly, final assembly, seat assembly, bonding, aircraft interiors
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

Driving

• This position may require you to drive a company vehicle which will require a clean driving record

Language/Communication Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write in English routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak English effectively before groups of customers of employees of organization

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to Problem solve in a variety of situations and communicate clearly and professionally to all employees regardless of employment status

Level Definition

• An “area” is defined as separate sections of each operational department where different functions are performed such as Sub-Assembly, Potting & Sanding, Panel Lay-up, ATP, etc
• All areas are not available throughout all operational departments
