Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of moderate to complex production and/or assembly operations
- Utilize diagrams, drawings, work orders, oral and/or written instructions to assemble products and sub-assemblies
- Read, interpret and abide by shop processes
- Knowledge of and understand in BMS, BAC and other types of aerospace specifications
- Consistently produce high level of quality craftsmanship
- Troubleshoot and problem solve based upon skill level
- Work with other department personnel to resolve issues/problems
- Knowledge of and understand the use of: Tools and machines: screw drivers, drills, clamps, vices, knives, gauges, scales, temperature recorders, etc.
- Materials: adhesives, laminates, fiberglass/resins, potting compound

Education And/or Experience
- Position requires basic job-related courses or training in a non-technical or vocational field.
- Experience in any and/or all of the following areas: mechanical assembly, final assembly, seat assembly, bonding, aircraft interiors.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Driving
- This position may require you to drive a company vehicle which will require a clean driving record.
Language/Communication Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write in English routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak English effectively before groups of customers of employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to Problem solve in a variety of situations and communicate clearly and professionally to all employees regardless of employment status.

Level Definition
- An “area” is defined as separate sections of each operational department where different functions are performed such as Sub-Assembly, Potting & Sanding, Panel Lay-up, ATP, etc.
- All areas are not available throughout all operational departments.
