MAVT - Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician

About the role

The Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT) position at Saint Clare's Health is a vital part of our healthcare team. This role involves transporting private patients and those from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who require mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safe transport and care of patients during appointments, doctor’s offices, dialysis treatments, physical therapy, and other medically necessary reasons.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure smooth transportation and care.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to vehicle maintenance and operation.

Requirements

• Current and valid Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician certification.
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an MAVT is preferred.
• A good driving history within the past 3 years.
