MAVT - Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician
About the role
The Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT) position at Saint Clare's Health is a vital part of our healthcare team. This role involves transporting private patients and those from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who require mobility assistance.
Responsibilities
- Safe transport and care of patients during appointments, doctor’s offices, dialysis treatments, physical therapy, and other medically necessary reasons.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure smooth transportation and care.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to vehicle maintenance and operation.
Requirements
- Current and valid Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician certification.
- Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
- Valid Driver's License.
- CEVO certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an MAVT is preferred.
- A good driving history within the past 3 years.

Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
